Speaking at the 15th SCO prime ministers' meeting, he also suggested that SCO members enhance cooperation in such fields as customs, inspection and quarantine, as well as certification and accreditation.
Chinese Premier Li Keqiang asked the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) member states to further strengthen their cooperation and coordination on security and boost the construction of regional anti-terrorism institutions and mechanisms.
At the same time, Premier Li said China hopes to work with other parties under the “Shanghai spirit”, to push ahead all-around cooperation toward concrete results, and benefit people of all nations in the region.
China stands ready to make joint efforts with other SCO members of to boost regional trade and facilitate investment, Chinese Premier Li Keqiang said on Thursday.
At the meeting, Premier Li also pledged to offer more scholarships for SCO members to enhance people-to-people exchanges.
